Job Description
About the Position Four Winds Staffing is hiring a Certified Surgical Tech for a 16-week travel contract at Muscogee (Creek) Nation Medical Center in Okmulgee, Oklahoma. This is one of the best-paying and best-quality-of-life travel surgical tech contracts available in Oklahoma right now. The Highlights $2,046/week gross ($20/hr. taxable + $1,246/wk. tax-free stipend at maximum GSA rate) 40 hours Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM No call, no weekends, no nights 66-bed acute care hospital with a broad case mix Occasional day coverage at CNCH Okemah (approximately once per month, mileage reimbursed) 16 weeks with extension option August / September 2026 starts prioritized Case Types General Surgery

- Endoscopy / EGD Requirements Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential from NBSTSA — current and unexpired Valid BLS certification (AHA or Red Cross) High School diploma or GED plus completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program Minimum 1 year of related OR experience preferred Ability to pass background check, 10-panel drug screen, and immunization requirements Reliable transportation for occasional Okemah day coverage Preferred Qualifications 2+ years of acute care OR experience Central Sterile / SPD cross-training or prior experience Multi-specialty case exposure (GYN, Urology, ENT, Orthopedics all a plus) Scope of Practice Per position description, this role combines OR scrub duties with Central Sterile / SPD responsibilities including decontamination, autoclave operation, tray assembly, and inventory management.
