Travel assignment (temporary placement)
Desired Qualifications:
Current certification as a Surgical Technologist (Certified Surgical Tech) Experience in Operating Room Technology (ORT) or as a Surgical Tech Active BLS certification (or ability to obtain prior to start) Previous experience in an operating room or sterile processing environment preferred Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Expected Responsibilities:
Prepare the operating room with necessary equipment and sterile instruments Ensure all surgical supplies are properly prepared and accounted for Assist surgeons and nursing staff during procedures, handling instruments and maintaining sterile fields Adhere to strict infection control and patient safety protocols Stay updated on the latest surgical techniques and protocols for continual professional growth
