1 Description American Traveler is hiring an Ultrasound Technologist for a General Sonography position requiring 1+ years of experience and ARDMS certification. Details , :

Acute care hospital setting with 150 staffed beds Performs general, OB/GYN, small parts, renal/pelvis, and vascular ultrasound studies Patient population includes adult, emergency department, pediatric, and NICU patients Performs portable ultrasounds and outpatient studies Uses GE and Siemens ultrasound equipment along with PACS Charts in Epic Schedule is 4x10 hour day shifts, Sunday-Wednesday, 8:00 AM-6:30 PM Required to float between like units and potentially to nearby affiliate hospitals Requirements , :

Minimum of 1 year of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist BLS certification required ARDMS certification required, with sub-specialties (AB, BR, FE, OB/GYN) preferred ARRT-S and

RDCS/RVT

certifications preferred Epic charting experience preferred Teaching hospital, community hospital, and Trauma Level I experience preferred Prior travel assignment experience required Valid CA license required at time of submission, license required if applicable Must provide 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years Additional Information Performs a wide range of ultrasound procedures including abdominal, OB/GYN, vascular, small parts, and guided biopsy/aspiration studies Skills in fetal anatomical survey, nuchal translucency screening, and Doppler studies are preferred Experience with amniocentesis, paracentesis, thoracentesis, and ultrasound-guided biopsy procedures is preferred Radiology staff wear black scrubs Free parking is provided on the first day, with assignment parking details given during orientation Must be willing to work 2 of the 3 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's Candidates must include requested RTO at the time of submission Local candidates are accepted A 50-mile radius rule applies Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must live outside a 50-mile radius from the facility First-time travelers will not be accepted for this role
