Job Overview Healthcare Career College is looking for a Diagnostic Medical Sonography (Ultrasound Tech) Instructor- Lead who is passionate about the profession, proactive, emotionally intelligent, adept at fusing theory with real-life experiences, and adaptable. The ideal candidate will be comfortable in both didactic and lab settings. You should be confident that your students can achieve the expected learning outcomes, prepare for the workplace, and be positioned to pass relevant certification exams using best practices in teaching. Qualifications/Requirements Minimum of 5 years' teaching experience in an accredited allied health training program. Bachelors or higher degree RDMS or ARRT certification required. Must welcome continuous training, personal growth and development. Have the demonstrated ability to help students understand complex concepts. Strong ability to communicate with a diverse student population Must be goal oriented, proactive, energetic, and highly ethical. Ability to assist students in the development of independent learning and critical thinking skills. Concern for creating an equitable, welcoming learning environment sensitive to diverse learning needs and challenges. Adept at implementing innovative teaching technology & administering lessons using digital solutions. Leadership skills to manage a other Ultrasound Instructors Experience in classroom teaching and Lab teaching Responsibilities Help students to achieve instructional objectives for theory and/or clinical as set by the School Assist students with developing both soft skills and technical skills needed to succeed in the workplace Meet weekly with the faculty team to learn, collaborate and discuss teaching strategies to implement into the classroom Schedule Full-time . Morning sessions are from 8:30am-2:30pm. Evening sessions are from 5-10pm. You can teach one or both sessions. All clinical sessions are in-person.
