Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Breast Ultrasound Technician to join our dynamic healthcare team. Responsibilities Operate medical imaging equipment to perform breast ultrasounds, including diagnostic and screening procedures. Prepare patients for ultrasound examinations by explaining procedures, positioning them correctly, and ensuring their comfort throughout the process. Accurately capture high-quality images of breast tissue, utilizing vascular technology diagnostics and ultrasound techniques. Maintain detailed documentation of procedures within Electronic Medical Records (EMR) or Electronic Health Records (EHR), ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality. Follow aseptic techniques and infection control protocols to ensure patient safety during all procedures. Operate and troubleshoot medical imaging equipment, including Picture Archiving and Communication Systems (PACS) for storing and retrieving images. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and current best practices in sonography and diagnostic radiology. Ensure compliance with safety standards while delivering exceptional patient care through effective communication skills. Experience Proven experience performing breast ultrasound procedures with a strong understanding of women's health diagnostics. Familiarity with operating medical imaging equipment . Prior experience working within EMR/EHR systems and picture archiving solutions like PACS is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, physicians, and healthcare team members.
