2 Description American Traveler is hiring an Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer with at least 2 years of hospital-based experience to perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures. Details 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week Weekend coverage Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM Overnight coverage Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM 9-week assignment length Requirements Minimum of 2 years of prior work experience in a US hospital in the ultrasound specialty Active license required, no pending licenses accepted (license required if applicable) AHA certifications only Two manager or supervisor references verifying experience within the past 12 months, with at least one from the most recent employer US SSN required for consideration Additional Information Perform ultrasound procedures and related techniques to produce diagnostic images for radiologist interpretation Maintain records in compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements Perform equipment quality control procedures and report deficiencies to supervisor Must reside within 50 miles of the facility
