On-Site Radiologist Job Summary:
The Ultrasound Technologist performs diagnostic ultrasound procedures in accordance with physician orders and departmental protocols. This role requires a high level of technical expertise, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering quality imaging services in a patient-centered environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform a variety of ultrasound procedures including abdominal, obstetric, vascular, and small parts Ensure high-quality imaging while prioritizing patient comfort and safety Review and verify physician orders and patient history prior to exams Collaborate with radiologists and other medical staff to ensure accurate diagnosis Maintain equipment and follow infection control procedures Accurately document procedures and maintain patient records in EMR systems
Qualifications:
Graduate of a Diagnostic Medical Sonography program Required
ARDMS RVT
certification or ARRT Sonography, additional specialties certifications a plus (OB/GYN, Abdomen, etc.) Current BLS certification New grads are welcome to apply Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment
