Category Imaging - Ultrasound Vascular Job Type Contract Skilled ultrasound professionals are needed to provide high-quality vascular imaging care on a contract basis. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced ultrasound technologist or sonographer specializing in vascular procedures who is dedicated to accuracy and patient comfort.
Qualifications & Experience:
Completion of an accredited ultrasound/sonography program. Current registration as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, with a vascular focus (RVT or equivalent preferred). Demonstrated hands-on experience in vascular ultrasound or related imaging settings. Proficient in performing and interpreting vascular exams, including arterial, venous, and carotid studies. Strong clinical judgment and ability to communicate findings clearly with healthcare teams. Commitment to maintaining safety and infection control standards. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Schedule/Hours:
Contract-based position; schedule details to be communicated during the interview process.
Responsibilities:
Perform a variety of vascular ultrasound exams in accordance with physician orders and protocols. Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures, ensuring comfort and safety throughout. Accurately record, analyze, and report imaging results for physician review. Maintain and calibrate ultrasound equipment for optimal performance and safety. Detail patient histories and exam findings in documentation systems. Collaborate with nurses, radiologists, and physicians for comprehensive patient care. Adhere to privacy policies, infection control practices, and ethical imaging standards.
