This position is ideal for a dedicated and detail-oriented Ultrasound Tech/Sonographer with experience in general ultrasound techniques. Contribute your expertise to support patient diagnostics, working alongside a skilled clinical team in a supportive and organized environment.
Schedule/Hours:
Contract role; schedule details provided during interview process.
Qualifications:
Certification as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (ARDMS or equivalent required) Proven experience in general ultrasound imaging Proficiency with sonographic equipment, protocols, and safety standards Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills Excellent communication abilities to interact with patients and staff Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and safety
Primary Responsibilities:
Perform high-quality general ultrasound examinations as ordered by medical staff Prepare and position patients for procedures, ensuring comfort and accuracy Analyze images for clarity and provide comprehensive imaging data to physicians Maintain detailed and accurate patient records and documentation Troubleshoot equipment and report malfunctions as needed Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure exemplary patient care Adhere to infection control and safety policies at all times
