They work closely with physicians to assist in diagnosing medical conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform ultrasound examinations as requested by physicians.
  • Explain procedures to patients and ensure their comfort.
  • Responsible for providing excellent services and care to patients
  • Capture and analyze images, ensuring clarity and accuracy.
  • Maintain equipment and follow infection control protocols.
  • Prepare reports and assist radiologists or doctors in diagnosis.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment; adhere to safe work practices especially in patient care, modesty, safety and infection control
  • Perform quality control procedures to ensure that the ultrasound equipment operates at optimal levels
  • Ad hoc duties as assigned
  • Qualified to perform most or all ultrasound tests, including but not limited to: Thyroid Ultrasound Carotid Doppler Abdominal Ultrasound Pelvic Ultrasound Scrotal Ultrasound Prostate Ultrasound Breast Ultrasound Kidney, Ureter, and Bladder (KUB) Ultrasound Hepatobiliary System (HBS) Ultrasound
Requirements:
  • Recognised Diploma / Degree in Sonography or equivalent
  • Registered with AHPC (Allied Health Professions Council), Singapore
  • Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in local hospital/clinic performing ultrasound examinations
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills.
  • Able to work in a team or independently with minimum supervision
