Category Imaging - Ultrasound Vascular Job Type Contract An opportunity is available for an experienced imaging professional skilled in Ultrasound Vascular and Sonography. This contract position is essential to providing accurate diagnostic support, focusing on vascular studies and general sonographic imaging services within a healthcare environment.
Qualifications and Experience:
ARDMS certification (or equivalent) in relevant specialty Previous experience conducting ultrasound vascular studies and diagnostic sonography Comprehensive understanding of imaging equipment and safety protocols Ability to adapt to fast-paced clinical workflows Strong interpersonal and communication skills with patients and healthcare teams
Primary Responsibilities:
Perform high-quality vascular ultrasound exams and general sonographic procedures as ordered by physicians Accurately document imaging results and collaborate with interpreting providers to support timely clinical decisions Maintain and operate ultrasound equipment, ensuring functionality and effective sterilization procedures Provide compassionate patient care, maintaining comfort and addressing questions or concerns during exams Assist with departmental recordkeeping and follow protocols to ensure regulatory and facility compliance Work collaboratively with technical and nursing staff to support overall patient care and imaging services This position offers a valuable chance to sharpen your imaging expertise within a supportive clinical team.
