Job Description
Job Summary The operator is responsible for manufacturing calf feeds and soybean products, both of meal and oil in accordance with standard operating procedures established at the roasting plant. The operator will be responsible for operating the computer automation systems required to process beans and blend calf feeds. The operator will operate the processing equipment according to established standard operating procedures. In addition to the required manufacturing, the operator will perform housekeeping activities, assist in maintenance and repair of equipment, and quality checks on all manufactured products. The operator is responsible for compliance with all company policies, local, state and federal policies, laws and regulations. Essential Duties
- Operate all manufacturing equipment
- Operate the automation system
- Manufacture products in accordance with quality assurance policies, standard operating procedures and Current Good Manufacturing Practices
- Collect samples in accordance with sampling plan
- Perform preventive maintenance on equipment
- Perform routine housekeeping
- Operate forklift
- Comply with all company policies
