May work on farms, in zoos and wildlife sanctuaries, in animal shelters, or in hospitals or clinics that specialize in caring for animals. May inspect livestock used for food and check compliance with food safety regulations, or work in laboratories doing clinical research on animal and human diseases.

Job Description
Buck Creek Veterinary Clinic is looking for a compassionate, motivated veterinarian to join our team in Knightstown, Indiana. We are a small practice that takes good care of its people, and we want you to build a long career here. Practice Highlights You will join Dr. Chelsea Garner (University of Illinois) and Dr. Ginger Pelger (Mississippi State), supported by four registered veterinary technicians and three assistants. Our spacious facility sits in beautiful farm country, away from the noise of the city. It features a large lobby, five exam rooms, and a full suite of diagnostic tools. We also have plenty of kennel space, so your own pets are welcome to join you on workdays. We are a close, family-oriented practice that protects a healthy balance between work and home. Our caseload is varied. We serve clients from all walks of life, so you will practice a true spectrum of care and see something new every week. Why Knightstown? Knightstown offers small-town charm with easy access to larger Indiana communities. It is a friendly place with a strong sense of community, a quieter pace, and affordable living. Our clients know their veterinary team by name and value the relationship. Your Schedule Monday through Friday only. No weekends and no major holidays. No after-hours emergency duty. Appointment hours run 8:00am to 12:00pm and 2:00pm to 4:30pm. The midday break is real. Use it to catch up on records, make callbacks, or step away from the building. About You Experienced DVMs and recent graduates are both welcome here. Our doctors and technicians enjoy teaching and learning from each other, and mentorship happens every day, not just when it is scheduled. If you have a special interest, bring it. We are always looking to grow what we can offer our clients. You will need an Indiana veterinary license or the ability to obtain one.
