Job Description

What you'll do: The Field Service Technician is responsible for traveling to customers' facilities and providing maintenance, installation, troubleshooting, and service support to ensure the effective operation of Hoosier Feeder products. Travel to customer facilities across the US to provide service support for new and existing products. (Occasional international travel may be required) Act as a company representative ensuring customer concerns and requests are met Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair production equipment in the field Install new equipment and provide user training when required Read and utilize machine drawings including electrical schematics, blueprints, and diagrams Safely utilize and maintain tools and power equipment Complete service reports and coordinate with office manager to complete jobs Provide quality and process improvement feedback to manufacturing team What you'll need: Flexibility regarding working hours and a desire to travel extensively required Proven technical capabilities in installing, servicing, and maintaining equipment Experience with TIG welding Light fabrication skills Exceptional verbal communication skills and ability to communicate with customers Reliable, self-starter with critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills Interest in working as part of a small and growing company, with awareness about the opportunities and challenges that come with a highly adaptive environment What you'll get: This is an opportunity to work as part of a small, growing company, in a fast-paced environment with a fun group of people!
