Overview A 2.5 doctor, small animal hospital in Eagan is looking for a FT Veterinarian as one of our beloved doctors is retiring. Work 2-3.5 days a week with no weekends or on call duties! Must love working on a team and enjoy client education. We utilize our Technicians and Assistants to the fullest.

Duties Conduct thorough examinations of animals to assess their health and diagnose any medical conditions. Develop treatment plans and administer medications or vaccinations as needed. Perform surgical procedures with precision and care. Utilize laboratory equipment to conduct tests and analyze results. Provide guidance on animal husbandry practices to pet owners. Maintain accurate medical records for each patient, documenting treatments and progress. Educate pet owners on proper animal care, nutrition, and preventive health measures. Work collaboratively with veterinary technicians and support staff to ensure efficient clinic operations. Experience Candidates should have the following skills and experience: Strong knowledge of animal physiology and anatomy. Proficiency in animal handling techniques, including dog handling and restraint methods. Experience in veterinary critical care is preferred. Familiarity with veterinary terminology and laboratory procedures. A commitment to providing compassionate care to all animals. Previous experience in animal care or veterinary settings is beneficial but not required for entry-level positions.
