Utilize veterinary terminology accurately to communicate effectively with colleagues and clients. Conduct diagnostic procedures such as laboratory tests, imaging, and animal catheterization to inform treatment plans. Provide emergency medicine and critical & intensive care for acutely ill or injured animals with professionalism and compassion. Maintain detailed medical records following clinical ethical guidelines and aseptic techniques to ensure compliance and quality care. Communicate clearly with pet owners about diagnoses, treatment options, and preventive care strategies. Support animal husbandry practices including grooming, feeding, and handling of animals with gentle expertise. Collaborate with the team on veterinary surgery, dentistry, internal medicine, cardiology, oncology, and other specialties as needed. Experience Proven veterinary experience with a strong foundation in veterinary medicine principles across multiple disciplines such as internal medicine, surgery, dentistry, cardiology, oncology, and emergency care. Hands-on experience in animal restraint techniques for safe handling of dogs, cats, exotic animals, and equines. Familiarity with anesthesiology procedures including general anesthesia management for various species. Laboratory experience involving diagnostic testing and interpretation of results. Knowledge of animal physiology and anatomy to support accurate diagnosis and treatment planning. Experience working within clinical ethical guidelines while providing compassionate animal care in fast-paced environments. Prior exposure to veterinary critical care settings or emergency medicine is highly desirable. Ability to communicate effectively with clients about pet care needs while demonstrating professional ethics at all times.
