Job Description

Westerville Veterinary Clinic is a thriving 9-doctor hospital in central Ohio seeking an Emergency Veterinarian to join our evening team. No matter how heavy or light the caseload on a given night, our schedule is intentionally designed to reduce burnout. Why our ER doctors love this schedule
  • Protected end-of-shift time. We stop accepting new emergencies one hour before our shift ends , giving us time to complete medical records, finish patient care, and leave on time
  • Avoids the overnight grind. Our evening ER shift ends at 2:00 AM , not 8:00 AM, making it far easier to maintain a healthy sleep schedule, spend time with family, and enjoy your days off
  • Continuity of care without the burden. Our daytime ER and general practice teams continue caring for your hospitalized patients, providing follow-up appointments and client communication so you can leave knowing your cases are in good hands. Many emergency clients become lifetime clients!
  • Predictable schedule with real days off and a team of Drs that will happily swap shifts if more time off is desired
  • Exceptional work-life flexibility. Some doctors simply enjoy the extra personal time, while others choose to supplement their income with occasional relief shifts on their days off. The choice is theirs
  • A genuinely supportive culture.
