What they do
A Veterinarian provides medical care to animals. Diagnoses and treats illnesses and injuries. Specializes in treating either pets and small domesticated animals, or large animals and livestock, or wild animals. May work on farms, in zoos and wildlife sanctuaries, in animal shelters, or in hospitals or clinics that specialize in caring for animals. May inspect livestock used for food and check compliance with food safety regulations, or work in laboratories doing clinical research on animal and human diseases.

8 exam rooms, 2-table surgical suite, treatment room with 3 wet/dental tables, large doc's office Digital radiography & digital dental X-ray Ultrasound, isoflurane anesthesia & suction unit Two ultrasonic dental machines IDEXX ProCyte DX, Catalyst DX & SediVue (automated urinalysis) Full in-house diagnostics: urinalysis with sediment, PCV/TP, blood smear differentials, skin & ear cytology SNAP testing: 4DX (heartworm), FeLV/FIV, parvo & SPEC cPL (pancreatitis) AVImark EMR with full exam room computer access Large, fully stocked on-site pharmacyJob Requirements:
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree or equivalent from an accredited university Licensure in good standing to practice in Texas Strong communication skills and a client-first mindset Team player with a positive, collaborative approach Passion for high-quality veterinary medicine and ongoing learning Why Friendswood?
