For a limited time MaineHealth is offering sign on bonuses forCertified Nursing Assistants:
0-1 years of experience eligible for $2,500 (full time) 1+ years of experience eligible for $4,000 (full time) Eligible candidates are hired (offer accepted) into a Full or Part time CNA position. Bonus amount prorated for Part time hires, per diem hires are ineligible. Current Maine Health member employees are ineligible; former MaineHealth Members are ineligible until greater than 6 months separation from employment.Summary:
MaineHealth Home Health & Hospice provides a full range of high-quality, home-based health services. We care for patients of all ages in York, Cumberland, Southern Oxford, Knox, Waldo, Lincoln and Sagadahoc counties in Maine. We are part of the MaineHealth integrated health system. Under supervision of a Registered Nurse, the Hospice/Home Care Aide role performs in-home care tasks required to help maintain and restore the physical, social, and emotional health of patients. Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)Education:
High school diploma or GED preferred.License/Certifications:
Current applicable state license as a Certified Nursing Assistant. Valid Driver's license with vehicle available for work covered by liability insurance as specified by agency policy required. Current BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date.Experience:
One year of experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant or Home Health Aide preferred.Additional Skills/Requirements Required:
