Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Youth Sports Coach to lead and inspire our athletes in our Youth Golf programs at 4 Elementary schools Seminole county. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in sports coaching, especially in Golf, and working with young children ages 6 to 12 years old. We are looking for coaches with the ability to educate and motivate young athletes. This role requires a commitment to fostering a positive and engaging environment for skill development, teamwork, and personal growth. Responsibilities Develop and implement training programs tailored to the needs of individual athletes and teams. Conduct regular lesson sessions, focusing on skill development, strategy, and teamwork. Educate athletes on, techniques motor skills improvement, social skills, and emotional skills using sports. Monitor and assess athlete performance, providing constructive feedback to enhance skills. Ensure the safety of all participants by maintaining a safe training environment; lifeguard certification is a plus for aquatic activities. Organize and oversee competitions, events, and team-building activities. Communicate effectively with athletes, parents, and other stakeholders regarding progress and expectations. Foster a positive team culture that emphasizes respect, discipline, and sportsmanship. Skills Proven experience in sports coaching with a focus on educating young athletes. Strong knowledge of various sports including Golf. Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with athletes of all ages. Ability to create an inclusive environment that encourages participation from all skill levels. Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and inspire others. First Aid certification is beneficial for roles involving aquatic sports or activities. Experience in childcare or working with youth is highly desirable.
