We're looking for a baker to join our kitchen team—someone who works with speed and precision, takes pride in their craft, and thrives in a collaborative but fast-paced environment. You'll be responsible for producing pastries that meet our quality standards while helping create a respectful and efficient kitchen culture. You'll be a great fit if you : Bring integrity and a strong work ethic Work quickly and stay focused under pressure Communicate clearly and contribute to a respectful team dynamic Can work both independently and collaboratively Accept feedback well and use it to grow Take pride in producing consistent, high-quality work Requirements Must be available to work weekends Must meet the minimum legal age to work in a commercial kitchen Must hold a valid California Food Handler Certificate (or be willing to obtain one before starting) At least 1 year of experience in kitchen preparation preferred Able to read, write, and communicate in English Maintains a clean and hygienic appearance in accordance with food safety standards Able to perform physical tasks required in a kitchen, including: Standing for extended periods (minimum of 6 hours) Reaching, bending, stooping Lifting and maneuvering trays or containers up to 50 lbs Able to work at least 30 hours per week, including weekends and some holidays Can perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation Job Duties Prepare, mix, assemble, and finish pastry items following recipes and techniques developed by the pastry team Maintain a clean and organized station throughout your shift Communicate clearly with team members and follow shift transitions smoothly Execute pastry prep efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality Write prep lists and ensure readiness for your shift and the next Take responsibility for your work and proactively solve problems Follow all food safety and kitchen cleanliness guidelines Contribute to a positive team environment based on mutual respect and shared goals Why Work With Us?
