Looking for the right person to fill our FT Bread Production position.

MUST BE ABLE TO WORK NIGHTS

- Position will start at 4pm-12am.

WORKING WEEKENDS REQUIRED!

POSITION SUMMARY Diner Antonette / LGO Hospitality is seeking an experienced Bread Production Baker to join our high-volume bakery production team. The Bread Production Baker is responsible for accurately and consistently executing established LGO Bakeshop recipes and production standards. This position requires strong technical baking skills, attention to detail, efficiency, reliability, and the ability to work collaboratively and professionally as part of a production team. Hospitality, quality, consistency, and respect for fellow team members are central to this role.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Prepare and produce breads and other baked products in accordance with established recipes, specifications, and production schedules. Accurately scale and measure ingredients. Mix, portion, shape, proof, bake, and otherwise prepare doughs and bread products according to established standards. Monitor product quality, consistency, appearance, and freshness throughout the production process. Follow all applicable food-handling, sanitation, safety, and cleanliness procedures. Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area, including equipment, tools, and production surfaces. Properly store, label, rotate, and handle ingredients and finished products. Work efficiently in a high-volume production environment while maintaining established quality and consistency standards. Communicate professionally and work cooperatively with bakery, culinary, and management team members. Perform other related duties as reasonably assigned based on operational needs.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum of one year of professional baking or commercial bakery experience. Working knowledge of scratch baking and the ability to accurately follow written recipes and production specifications. Experience working with dough and bread-production techniques, including shaping and proofing. Ability to work the required evening/night schedule, generally 4:00 p.m.-12:00 a.m. Ability to work weekends and holidays as required by business needs. Valid California Food Handler Card, or ability to obtain one within the timeframe required by applicable law. Reliable attendance and punctuality. If this is you, we want to meet you!
