Job Description

Marriott is seeking a skilled Chef de Partie, Baker to prepare high-quality baked goods for our guests. You will produce breads, pastries, and desserts to brand standards, manage daily prep, and maintain a clean, safe kitchen. Collaborating with the culinary team, you'll help design menus, monitor inventory, and ensure consistent presentation and portioning. You will follow food safety and sanitation guidelines, train junior staff, and support efficient service during busy periods. At Marriott, you'll work in a culture focused on people, growth, and long-term hospitality careers. Responsibilities Produce breads, pastries, and desserts to Marriott brand standards. Set up and manage daily baking mise en place and production schedules. Operate and maintain commercial ovens, mixers, and baking tools safely. Ensure strict food safety, sanitation, and HACCP compliance. Monitor product quality, consistency, portioning, and presentation. Assist with menu development and recipe testing for baked items. Manage stock rotation, inventory, and minimize waste in the bakeshop. Train and support junior culinary staff in baking techniques and standards. Coordinate with kitchen and service teams for timely order fulfillment. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times.
