Experienced Donut Maker (Minimum 5 Years Verifiable Experience) Position Overview New donut shop seeking a highly skilled, detail‑driven experienced donut maker with a minimum of five years of professional, verifiable experience in yeast‑raised donut production. This role is central to our brand identity and product excellence. We are looking for someone who understands the craft, respects the science, and can consistently deliver a standout donut profile. Key Responsibilities Donut Production — Mixing, fermenting, rolling, cutting, frying, glazing, and finishing yeast‑raised donuts with precision and consistency. Quality Control — Ensuring every batch meets strict standards for texture, flavor, aroma, and appearance. Recipe Execution — Following established formulas while contributing to ongoing product refinement. Kitchen Workflow — Maintaining an efficient, clean, and organized production environment. Equipment Operation — Safe and effective use of mixers, sheeters, fryers, proofers, and finishing tools. Team Collaboration — Working closely with production staff and leadership to meet daily output goals. Required Qualifications Minimum 5 years professional donut‑making experience in a commercial bakery setting. Verifiable references from previous employers or production managers. Demonstrated mastery of yeast‑raised dough handling, fermentation, and frying. Ability to produce consistent results in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment. Strong understanding of food safety, sanitation, and bakery standards. Reliability, punctuality, and a commitment to excellence. Preferred Skills (Not Required but Highly Valuable) Experience with beignet production or other Southern pastry traditions. Familiarity with commercial dough sheeters and laminated dough processes. Background in glaze formulation and flavor development. Ability to train junior staff or assist with workflow optimization. Comfort working early‑morning production shifts.
