Position Overview We are seeking a dedicated & enthusiastic Baker to join our caf? team. The ideal candidate will ensure that our pastries & baked goods are prepared with care, consistency, & the highest attention to quality. We\'ve spent years refining our core menu & shift routines so our team can succeed even during our busiest seasons. This position is about craft & consistency-executing established recipes with exactness & keeping shift flow steady. Key Responsibilities Prepare & execute established pastry recipes. Bake daily items such as donuts, muffins, & cookies. Display fresh baked goods in the presentation case. Maintain & restock baked goods as needed throughout the day. Manage the pastry station, including ingredient inventory & par levels. Assist with savory prep tasks when necessary. Wash dishes as required to support kitchen operations. Qualifications A passion for baking & creating exceptional food. Keen attention to detail & quality. Ability to work both independently & collaboratively with the team. Dependable, professional, & able to prioritize tasks effectively. Capability to follow recipes accurately & consistently. Open to experimenting & sharing ideas with the kitchen team. Receptive to feedback & able to implement it positively. Physical ability to st& throughout shifts & lift up to 50 lbs. Commercial kitchen experience preferred but not required. Availability Requirements Commitment to year-round employment. Comfortable working 5:00 AM to 12:00 PM shifts (flexibility is possible). Availability to work weekends/holidays, our busiest times. Ideally available for 32-40 hours per week (4-5 shifts). Benefits Employee discount on all products.
