Job Description

This is a full-time seasonal role beginning August 2026. The starting wage for this role is $17.50/hour Roles & Responsibilities Bake and prepare a variety of pastries, desserts, breads, and baked goods for the dining room, employee dining room, and coffee shop. Assist in developing and producing feature desserts and pastry specials for food and beverage outlets. Maintain cleanliness, organization, and sanitation of baking stations, equipment, and food preparation areas. Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures at all times. Identify and report maintenance, equipment, and safety concerns to the appropriate supervisor. Support banquet, conference, meeting, and special event operations as required. Provide friendly and professional assistance to guests and teammates.
Contribute wherever needed and support overall kitchen and hospitality operations. Required Skills & Qualifications 1-2 years of baking, pastry, or food production experience required. Culinary, baking, or patisserie training is considered an asset. Knowledge of food preparation, baking techniques, and food safety standards. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills. Commitment to maintaining high standards of quality, cleanliness, and workplace safety. Positive attitude with strong communication and teamwork skills. Ability to adapt to changing priorities and support multiple operational areas as needed. This job description outlines the primary responsibilities of the Baker role; however, duties may evolve based on operational needs.
