Job Summary This is a 40 hour, 5 day per week job, or a 48 hour, 6 day per week job if the candidate is interested in making more money with overtime and more hours. We are seeking a skilled and passionate Baker to join our culinary team, all different shifts, overnight 6pm-2am or 10p-6am shifts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and a love for creating delicious baked goods. As a Baker, you will be responsible for producing high-quality breads, donuts, pastries, and desserts while adhering to food safety standards. This role requires attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment. We are also willing to teach a candidate that can follow direction and has some experience in a kitchen or bakery. You would also be responsible for cutting and frying donuts. Pay will reflect experience. Responsibilities Prepare and bake a variety of breads, pastries, cakes, donuts and other baked goods according to recipes and specifications. Measure and mix ingredients accurately to ensure consistent quality in all products. Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, mixers, fryers, and proofers safely and effectively. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the baking area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations. Skills Proficiency in cooking and baking techniques specific to baking and pastry preparation. Experience working in a restaurant or food industry setting is preferred. knowledge of food safety practices to ensure the highest standards of hygiene are maintained. Ability to use kitchen tools effectively, including knives and other equipment required for food preparation. Excellent time management skills Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with other bakery staff members.
