Overview We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to customer service and the ability to navigate routes efficiently. This role involves operating a box truck and requires physical stamina for heavy lifting and moving. If you have experience in delivery driving, warehouse operations, or commercial driving, we encourage you to apply. Hours would be 3-11am for a full shift or may work part time 3-8am. Can be flexible like 2-10am or 1-9am or shorter shifts as long as available between 3-8am to deliver. 2-5 days per week depending on the candidate. Responsibilities Safely operate a box truck for deliveries, ensuring timely arrival at designated locations. Load and unload products using manual handling techniques, pallet jacks, or forklifts as necessary. We load and unload racks of products to different locations. Follow assigned routes while adhering to traffic laws and company policies. Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, addressing any inquiries or concerns from clients. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including signatures and any discrepancies. Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Assist in warehouse operations when not on delivery routes, including inventory management and organization and cleaning for someone who wants additional hours. Full or part time depending on candidate. Qualifications Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients. Experience with warehouse operations is a plus, including familiarity with loading/unloading procedures. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience driving manual transmission vehicles is desirable. Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds) and perform physically demanding tasks. Familiarity with route driving and navigation systems to optimize delivery efficiency. Experience operating forklifts and pallet jacks is an advantage but not mandatory.
