A combination of artisan and baguette shifts with more emphasis on the baguette portu. We at Metropol pride ourselves on our own 20 year old sourdough starter and our from-scratch baking. It's a craft that takes awareness, being precise and an extreme amount of care. We are looking for someone with dedication, commitment, flexibility, and the ability to work hard all while maintaining consistency. These traits are of high importance. Experience with bread is preferred, but we are open to training the right person without experience if a love and curiosity toward bread is present. You must be able to lift and move 55lbs with ease, stand on your feet for long periods of time, feel comfortable working alone and with others, and be a night person as this shift will be roughly from 8pm-5am.
