—BAKERY ASSISTANT / CAKE DECORATOR
Do you love baking, decorating, and making people's celebrations special? We're looking for a dependable, creative, hardworking person to join our team at our busy custom cake shop! This is a hands-on position where no two days are exactly alike. You'll get to be involved in everything from baking and food prep to decorating beautiful cakes and cupcakes — with some customer interaction and the occasional delivery thrown in! What You'll Do Bake cakes, cupcakes, cookies & other goodies Prepare batters, fillings, frostings & other ingredients Decorate cakes and cupcakes Help prepare and package custom orders Work with customers and provide friendly service Keep the kitchen and work areas clean & organized Stock and organize supplies Occasionally make local deliveries Pitch in wherever needed to keep our busy bakery running smoothlyThe Right Person Will Be:
Creative and interested in cake decorating Reliable, punctual & hardworking Comfortable in a fast-paced environment Detail-oriented and proud of their work Friendly and comfortable working with customers Able to follow recipes and instructions A team player who is also able to work independently Previous bakery, cake decorating, food service, or customer service experience is a plus — but we're willing to train the right person! Schedule 24-30 hours per week Tuesday-Friday Occasional Saturday morningsREQUIREMENTS
Must be 18 years of age or older due to the use of commercial bakery equipment. Must have reliable personal transportation.
