Job Description

Pastry Cook / Baker SheChill Patisserie | Woodinville, WA Overview SheChill Patisserie is looking for a passionate Pastry Cook / Baker to join our team! Candidates must have culinary or pastry school training, or hands-on experience in bread baking and pastry making, including items such as croissants, mousse cakes, and other cakes. We're seeking someone who takes pride in their work, pays attention to detail, and enjoys creating beautiful, delicious baked goods. Responsibilities Work morning opening shifts, preparing the kitchen and getting baked goods ready for service. Prepare pastries according to established recipes and quality standards. Mix croissant and bread doughs, and laminate and shape croissants. Bake croissants, make sandwiches, and other breads. Make mousse cakes and entremets, including glazing and decorating. Decorate cakes and pastries with care and attention to presentation. Package and organize baked goods for display, service, and customer orders. Assist with deliveries as needed. Keep the kitchen clean and organized while following food safety and sanitation guidelines. Monitor ingredient inventory and communicate restocking needs to the kitchen manager. Skills & Qualifications Preferred Culinary school training, or relevant experience in bread baking and pastry making Experience with croissant lamination and dough mixing is preferred. Familiarity with preparing mousse, cakes, and other pastry components. Availability to work morning opening shifts. Ability to safely use kitchen equipment, including ovens, mixers, and knives. Strong time management skills and the ability to stay organized in a busy kitchen. Attention to detail and a commitment to consistent quality. Pay:
$19.00 - $23.00 per hour Expected hours: 30.0 - 40.0 per week
