! We are looking for a part-time or full-time person to create and bake bagels 20 - 40 hours per week. This individual will be responsible to start work as early as 4am for baking breads and bagels 5 days a week. Ultimately, you will make sure we offer fresh and delicious goods to our customers on a daily basis. This position can work as a part or full-time position with many options for hours if there aren't enough with the baking. Responsibilities

• Open the bakery early in the morning
• Clean kitchen equipment and tools daily
• Weigh flour and other ingredients to prepare dough
• Bake different bread types, bagels, etc...
• Follow recipes Skills
• Experience as a Baker is a plus but not required
• Familiarity with all professional kitchen equipment, including mixers, blenders, etc...
• Understanding of food safety practices
• Excellent time-management skills
• Ability to remain calm and focused in a fast-paced environment
• Team spirit, with a customer-focused attitude
• Flexibility to work in early morning shifts
• Certification from a culinary school is a plus Food prep, stock product shelves, dishwashing and general cleaning Good communication skills Be able to follow directions, multi-task and complete tasks Follow established procedures, while maintaining a clean, sanitary and safe environment Must be able to do basic arithmetic, complete basic paperwork Ability to follow written and verbal instruction Must be able to communicate clearly with managers, co-workers, customers Be courteous, punctual and reliable Experience helpful but not required.
