As a key member of our café, you'll craft refreshing drinks, provide exceptional customer service, and ensure every guest leaves with a smile. This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in beverage preparation, retail sales, and food handling while working in a lively, fast-paced setting. Responsibilities Prepare and serve bubble tea, smoothies, specialty drinks, and other menu items according to recipes and quality standards. Cook and prepare boba (tapioca pearls) and other drink toppings with precision and care. Operate POS systems such as Clover and Square to process retail sales transactions efficiently and accurately. Provide friendly and attentive customer service by taking orders, answering questions about menu items, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Handle cash transactions accurately while processing payments and giving correct change. Refill and restock ingredients, cups, lids, straws, syrups, teas, and other supplies throughout the shift. Maintain cleanliness and organization of all workstations, equipment, and preparation areas in accordance with food safety standards. Keep the customer seating area clean and inviting by wiping tables, sweeping, and disposing of trash as needed. Clean and restock the restroom regularly to ensure a sanitary environment. Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times. Assist with opening and closing duties, including cleaning, stocking, and preparing the shop for the next shift. Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly while maintaining quality standards. Work efficiently with team members to provide fast and friendly service while maintaining product quality. Experience Previous experience in food service or café environments is highly preferred but not required. Training will be provided. Barista experience with beverage preparation skills including coffee making and drink service is a plus. Familiarity with POS systems such as Clover or Square enhances efficiency in sales processing. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively with diverse customers. Basic math skills for cash handling, processing transactions, and giving accurate change. Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures is essential. Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail and cleanliness.
