The ideal candidate will assist with beverage preparation, guest service, order processing, café cleanliness, restocking, and daily coffee shop operations. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys coffee and hospitality, works well with others, and can provide friendly and efficient service in a fast-paced café environment. Key Responsibilities Welcome guests warmly and provide friendly, professional service. Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently. Prepare coffee, espresso, tea, and specialty beverages according to café standards. Assist with preparing pastries, sandwiches, snacks, and other café menu items as needed. Operate the POS system and process cash, card, and other payments accurately. Answer guest questions about menu items and beverage options. Assist guests with selections and provide helpful recommendations. Maintain consistent beverage quality, presentation, and order accuracy. Keep the coffee bar, counters, tables, and service areas clean and organized. Clean and sanitize coffee equipment, utensils, counters, and workstations. Restock coffee beans, milk, syrups, cups, lids, food items, and other café supplies. Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures. Support coworkers during busy service periods. Assist with opening, closing, and daily café duties. Monitor supplies and communicate low-stock items to management. Handle guest requests and concerns in a polite and professional manner. Perform additional café responsibilities as assigned by management. Requirements Previous café, coffee shop, restaurant, retail, or hospitality experience is preferred but not required. Basic knowledge of coffee and beverage preparation is a plus. Friendly, professional, and guest-focused attitude. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Good attention to detail and order accuracy. Basic POS and cash-handling experience is a plus. Reliable attendance and punctuality. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform routine café duties. Flexible availability, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Preferred Skills Coffee or barista experience. Familiarity with espresso machines, grinders, and café equipment. Strong guest service and interpersonal skills. Ability to multitask during busy service periods. Good organization and time-management skills. Willingness to learn new beverages, recipes, and café procedures. Positive attitude and strong work ethic. Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
