The ideal candidate will assist with beverage preparation, guest service, order processing, food service, cleanliness, restocking, and daily café operations. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hospitality, works well with others, and can provide friendly and efficient service in a fast-paced restaurant and café environment. Key Responsibilities Welcome guests warmly and provide friendly, professional service. Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently. Prepare coffee, tea, specialty beverages, and other drinks according to established standards. Assist with preparing and serving Mediterranean food items and café offerings as needed. Operate the POS system and process cash, card, and other payments accurately. Answer guest questions about menu items, ingredients, beverages, and available options. Assist guests with selections and provide helpful recommendations. Ensure orders are prepared accurately and served promptly. Maintain clean and organized counters, dining areas, service stations, and workspaces. Clean and sanitize beverage equipment, utensils, counters, and preparation areas. Restock beverages, food items, cups, packaging, condiments, and other supplies. Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures. Support team members during busy service periods. Assist with opening, closing, and daily restaurant duties. Handle guest requests and concerns in a polite and professional manner. Perform additional responsibilities assigned by management. Requirements Previous café, restaurant, retail, or hospitality experience is preferred but not required. Basic knowledge of coffee and beverage preparation is a plus. Friendly, professional, and guest-focused attitude. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Good attention to detail and order accuracy. Basic POS and cash-handling experience is a plus. Reliable attendance and punctuality. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform routine restaurant and café duties. Flexible availability, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Preferred Skills Coffee shop, café, or restaurant experience. Basic barista or beverage-service experience. Familiarity with POS systems and payment processing. Strong guest service and interpersonal skills. Interest in coffee, food, and hospitality. Ability to multitask during busy service periods. Good organization and time-management skills. Positive attitude and willingness to learn. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Commitment to cleanliness, food safety, and service quality.
