Tirzahs Mexi-Terranean is seeking an experienced and dependable Lead Barista to help coordinate daily beverage service and support the café or restaurant team. This role combines hands-on beverage preparation with team support, customer service, and maintaining smooth service during busy periods. The ideal candidate is organized, knowledgeable about café operations, and able to lead by example. Key Responsibilities Prepare coffee, espresso drinks, teas, and other beverages according to established standards Welcome guests and provide friendly, professional service Support and guide baristas and other team members during service Help coordinate beverage-station workflow during busy periods Monitor beverage quality, presentation, and order accuracy Assist with training and coaching new team members Operate the POS system and process customer orders when needed Answer routine customer questions about beverages and menu items Maintain clean, organized, and properly stocked beverage stations Monitor coffee, beverage ingredients, cups, and other supplies Communicate restocking needs and operational issues to management Assist with opening and closing procedures Follow food-safety, sanitation, and workplace procedures Qualifications Previous barista, café, restaurant, or hospitality experience Previous lead or supervisory experience is preferred Strong knowledge of coffee and beverage preparation Friendly and professional customer-service approach Strong communication and teamwork skills Reliable, organized, and comfortable taking responsibility Able to work efficiently during busy service periods Good attention to detail and order accuracy Familiarity with POS systems and café operations is helpful Ability to support, train, and work cooperatively with team members Benefits On-the-job training and development Opportunities to build leadership and beverage-service skills Supportive and team-oriented work environment Flexible scheduling may be available Employee benefits and perks may vary by position and employment status About the Company Tirzahs Mexi-Terranean provides a customer-focused dining environment featuring a combination of Mexican and Mediterranean-inspired offerings.
