The successful candidate will prepare specialty beverages, support and train baristas, maintain service and beverage standards, assist with inventory and café organization, and help create a welcoming experience for every guest. Key Responsibilities Prepare espresso, brewed coffee, tea, specialty beverages, and other café menu items according to established standards Welcome guests and provide friendly, professional service Take orders accurately and operate the POS system Process cash, card, and other payments accurately Lead bar operations during assigned shifts and help maintain efficient service Support, train, and guide baristas and café team members Ensure team members follow beverage recipes, preparation procedures, and service standards Monitor beverage quality, presentation, consistency, and portion standards Operate and maintain espresso machines, grinders, brewers, and other café equipment Answer guest questions and provide knowledgeable assistance with menu items and beverages Handle guest requests and concerns professionally and help resolve service issues Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked coffee bar Clean and sanitize coffee equipment, counters, utensils, and workstations Restock coffee beans, milk, syrups, cups, food items, and other supplies Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to management Assist with opening, closing, and daily café cleaning procedures Support management with shift coordination and daily café operations Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures Perform additional duties assigned by café management Requirements Previous barista experience required; lead or senior barista experience preferred Strong knowledge of espresso preparation and specialty coffee beverages Experience operating commercial espresso machines and grinders Strong understanding of café service and beverage-quality standards Previous experience training or supporting other team members is a plus Friendly, professional, and guest-focused attitude Strong communication and leadership skills Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced café environment Strong attention to detail and commitment to beverage quality POS and cash-handling experience Reliable attendance and punctuality Ability to stand for extended periods and perform routine café duties Flexible availability, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays Benefits Competitive compensation Flexible scheduling options Barista and coffee training opportunities Supportive and team-oriented work environment Employee coffee or café discount opportunities may be available Opportunities for professional growth and advancement About the Company Obet & Dels Coffee, Hollywood is focused on quality coffee, thoughtfully prepared beverages, and friendly hospitality.
