Your expertise in coffee preparation, cash handling, and customer service will contribute to an exceptional café experience. Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and food items according to established recipes and standards. Operate the cash register and handle transactions accurately using the POS system. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including equipment and workstations. Ensure compliance with food safety and handling regulations during food preparation. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders, and addressing inquiries or concerns. Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of coffee beans, supplies, and food items. Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment and enhance overall customer satisfaction. Skills Proficiency in cash handling and experience operating cash registers or POS systems (Aloha POS experience is a plus). Knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and beverage preparation. Familiarity with food safety standards and proper food handling practices. Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with customers and team members. Basic understanding of retail math for accurate transaction processing. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
