Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of non-alcoholic beverages, including tea, and specialty drinks, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met. Operate POS systems to process retail sales transactions accurately and efficiently. Handle cash register operations, process cash transactions, and give correct change while maintaining accountability for all cash handling procedures. Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders promptly, and addressing any questions or special requests with enthusiasm. Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including food handling stations, beverage prep zones, and seating areas, adhering to food safety standards. Assist in food preparation tasks as needed, ensuring all food safety protocols are followed diligently. Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure quick service without compromising quality or safety standards. Qualifications Previous experience in food service or café environments is preferred; barista experience is highly valued. Proficiency with POS systems; previous cashiering experience is a plus. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests. Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and managing cash handling responsibilities. Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail in beverage preparation and cleanliness.
