Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and light food items while maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene. Handle cash transactions with precision, including cash handling, cashiering, and basic math calculations to ensure accurate sales processing. Maintain cleanliness of workstations, dining areas, and equipment in compliance with food safety regulations. Manage food preparation tasks such as assembling sandwiches or snacks while adhering to food handling protocols. Assist customers with inquiries about menu items, products, or services to enhance their overall experience. Support inventory management by restocking supplies, monitoring stock levels, and placing orders as needed to ensure smooth operations. Proven experience as a barista or in the food service industry with strong coffee knowledge preferred. Familiarity with POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient transaction processing. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively engage with diverse guests. Strong time management skills to handle busy periods effectively while maintaining quality standards. Knowledge of food safety practices, food handling procedures, and serving techniques to ensure guest safety. Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and transaction accuracy. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail in food preparation and service tasks.
