About us Happy Trails Coffee Co is a coffee cafe located in Midtown Fort Collins off of College and W Stuart Street. We are a fun, vibrant and energetic coffee shop concept that is unlike any coffee shop in Noco! We serve up locally roasted Wander Coffee paired with tasty, filling and fun grab n go style food to keep that pep in your step all day long! •Barista, Cashier & Food Prepper Job Description (Yes this is a multi-skilled position!) Greeting customers in a friendly manner and taking food and drink orders Preparing and serving beverages, ranging from simple to elaborate ones as per established company recipes and standards. Preparing and serving food items such as breakfast and lunch items like toasts, sandwiches, burritos, and pastries as per established company recipes and standards. Food handlers certification is required Answering customers' questions about menu choices Promoting and recommending menu options and upselling to customers Ringing in orders and taking payment from customers Keeping the work environment clean, sanitary and organized Maintain clean food and beverage serving ware Executing exceptional hospitality standards as trained by the company Opening and closing duties Stocking inventory and products when needed Cash handling skills Wiping and cleaning all surfaces Sweeping and mopping floors Keeping bathrooms clean, tiddy, stocked and sanitary Skills and qualifications Listen well and communicate in a professional and friendly manner Exude a positive and friendly attitude with co-workers and guests Focus on exceptional guest satisfaction Practice basic safety procedures with respect to equipment and handling hot beverages Understand and respect food safety protocols Be efficient and organized Build good relationships with guests Maintain a clean work environment Keep supplies replenished to minimize downtime Requirements Previous work experience as a Barista, Cashier or Waiter/Waitress Hands-on experience with brewing equipment Knowledge of sanitation regulations Flexibility to work various shifts Basic math skills Ability to gauge guests' preferences Excellent communication skills Available for opening, mid and closing shifts. Shift Leader Job Description Everything included in our barista, cashier and grub prepper positions Monitoring attendance and tardiness of team members Assigning duties to specific employees based on role and skills Supervising employees and assisting with tasks as necessary Managing employees requests and transgressions Training new and current team members on tasks Handling customer issues and managing conflicts Adhering to company policies and health, safety and employment standards Maintaining inventory and equipment by cleaning, troubleshooting and scheduling repairs Evaluating and modifying processes to improve efficiency and quality of service Balancing cash drawers and preparing cash deposits Helping with marketing events Working to attract new customers and expanding the menu Works closely with owner Pay is $14.25-$15/hour (depending on experience) plus tips Available for opening, mid and closing shifts.
