Job Description
The Barista position at Just Love Coffee Café is the heart of our team that serves our neighbors. As the face of Just Love Coffee Café, your smile, heart to serve, and desire to connect with every guest that walks through the door is vital. You are the person who serves up love with every beverage, every day. You are the smiling face that reflects our values and has a desire to be a catalyst for love. Your passion for our guests is the heartbeat that takes our store from more than a store but to a place for friends to gather in the neighborhood. We are looking for an experienced Barista to prepare and serve hot and cold beverages, including various types of coffee and tea, as well as cashier and cleaning responsibilities. Barista responsibilities include educating customers on our drink and food menu, making recommendations based on their preferences, up-selling special items, taking orders, ringing them up and taking payments. To be successful in this role, you should have customer service skills and an interest or knowledge of coffee beverages. You should also be able to work various shifts, including 2-3 Saturdays and Sundays (8am-5:00pm) per month in a busy store environment.
