Overview Join our vibrant café team as a Lead Coffee Barista, working Tuesday through Saturday to create exceptional coffee experiences and lead our barista team with enthusiasm and expertise. Duties Prepare and serve a wide range of coffee and espresso drinks, following established recipes and presentation standards. Maintain a clean and organized workstation, including coffee machines, counters, and equipment. Deliver friendly and efficient customer service by answering questions, taking orders, and ensuring guest satisfaction. Monitor inventory levels of coffee, milk, syrups, and other supplies; restock as needed and communicate shortages to management. Adhere to all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines while operating food and beverage equipment. Assist Cashier when needed, assist food runner when needed. Experience Previous barista experience with knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and beverage service Familiarity with POS systems such as TOAST or Square for sales processing Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle inquiries professionally and efficiently Experience in food safety practices and proper food handling procedures Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy periods Basic math proficiency for cash handling, register reconciliation, and inventory management This energetic role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to lead a passionate team while delivering outstanding café experiences.
