Job Description

We're looking for friendly, reliable, and customer-focused individuals who are excited to learn, grow, and be part of a positive workplace. This role is best suited for someone who can work 30+ hours per week and has flexible availability, including morning, afternoon, and closing shifts. Position Overview As a MOTW Barista , you will prepare coffee, tea, smoothies, and specialty drinks while delivering outstanding customer service. You'll be trained on our systems and recipes, so previous barista experience is helpful but not required . We care deeply about how our customers feel when they walk through our doors — kindness, professionalism, and attention to detail matter here. What You'll Do Greet customers warmly and take orders Prepare coffee, tea, smoothies, and café beverages Educate guests on our menu and recommend items Operate the Clover POS system and handle cash Prepare pastries and food for dine-in and take-out Keep the bar, kitchen, and café clean and organized Restock inventory and assist with deliveries Complete opening, mid-shift, and closing checklists Support a positive, respectful, drama-free workplace Assist with private events when scheduled Shift Expectations Weekday mornings start at 6:45 AM Weekend mornings start at 8:45 AM Punctuality is required Mid-shift coverage must be on time and properly logged Work Attire Professional, clean appearance No ripped jeans, crop tops, or graphic tees with profanity or political content Closed-toe shoes required Qualifications No prior barista experience required — we will train Must have or be willing to obtain a Food Handler Certificate Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to work in a fast-paced café environment Ability to lift up to 25 lbs Basic math and comfort using POS systems Reliable, positive, and team-oriented Why Work at MOTW?
