Overview Join our vibrant café and bar environment as a dynamic and energetic Barista/Bartender! Your passion for coffee, cocktails, and exceptional service will shine through as you manage orders efficiently and ensure each visitor leaves satisfied. This tipped position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in a lively setting while contributing to a memorable guest experience. This is a morning position - no late nights! Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages and cocktails Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process transactions accurately and efficiently Manage multiple orders simultaneously while maintaining excellent customer service standards Handle cash, credit card payments, and perform cashiering duties with integrity and accuracy Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in accordance with health regulations Assist in food preparation, food handling, and serving to ensure timely delivery of orders Engage with customers to promote sales, answer questions about menu items, and create a friendly atmosphere Qualifications Proven experience as a barista or bartender in a fast-paced café or food service environment Knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS is highly preferred Strong time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently Excellent customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse guests Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and transaction accuracy Familiarity with food safety practices and proper food handling procedures Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed Previous experience in the food industry or retail math is advantageous Embark on an exciting journey where your energy fuels exceptional guest experiences!
