Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for creating high-quality beverages and providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced café environment. You will play a key role in ensuring that our customers have a delightful experience while enjoying their favorite drinks and snacks. Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other specialty drinks with precision and care. Operate the Aloha POS or Micros POS systems efficiently for order processing and cash handling. Provide outstanding customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food preparation surfaces and equipment. Adhere to food safety standards and regulations during food handling and preparation. Assist with inventory management, including monitoring stock levels and placing orders as needed. Demonstrate time management skills to ensure timely service during peak hours. Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment that fosters teamwork and communication. Experience Previous barista experience or background in the coffee industry is preferred but not required. Familiarity with food service operations, including food preparation and serving techniques. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse clientele. Basic math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations. Knowledge of food safety practices is essential for maintaining a safe working environment.
