Basic Qualifications Reliable attendance and punctuality Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays Ability to stand on your feet for extended periods of time Capable of lifting and moving up to 50 lbs such as coffee beans, milk crates, cold brew kegs, and trash bins Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes precisely Ability to taste and evaluate food and beverages for quality control Preferred Barista Qualifications Previous experience as a barista or in specialty coffee Knowledge of espresso extraction, milk steaming, and latte art fundamentals Strong customer service experience in a fast-paced café or restaurant Familiarity with café POS systems and cash handling procedures Ability to multitask while maintaining quality and accuracy A genuine passion for hospitality, food, and beverage craft What You'll Do Greet and engage guests, ensuring they feel welcome and taken care of Prepare and serve all coffee, tea, espresso, and specialty drinks to Crave's standards Expedite and serve baked goods and made-to-order breakfast sandwiches from our kitchen team Handle guest orders accurately and efficiently at the register and POS system Support daily café operations including opening and closing tasks Maintain a clean, safe, and organized café environment Work with your team to complete shift tasks and keep the café running smoothly Communicate clearly with teammates and managers about customer needs or concerns Stay up to date on seasonal offerings and share product knowledge with guests
