Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Espresso Specialist / Lead Barista to join our vibrant café team. Duties Prepare and serve high-quality espresso drinks, non-alcoholic beverages, and specialty coffee creations with precision and flair Lead the team by demonstrating best practices in beverage preparation, food handling, and customer service excellence Manage retail sales transactions using Shift4 POS systems Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including equipment sanitation, food safety compliance, and general upkeep Assist in training new team members on food safety standards, beverage techniques, POS operations, and customer engagement strategies Oversee cash handling procedures, processing cash transactions accurately while balancing registers at shift end Ensure consistent beverage quality and uphold food industry standards for food safety and hygiene Qualifications Proven experience as a barista with a strong background in coffee preparation and beverage service Prior leadership or supervisory experience in a café or food service environment preferred Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally Strong time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently without compromising quality Knowledge of food safety practices, food handling procedures, and proper cleaning protocols Basic math skills for retail math calculations, cash handling, and transaction processing Ability to work flexible hours including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed Join us to craft memorable coffee moments while leading a passionate team dedicated to excellence. Pay:

$17.25 - $19.25 per hour Expected hours: 32.0 - 40.0 per week
