Job Overview We are on the lookout for friendly, energetic individuals to join our team as Barista/Server or Kitchen Prep/Baker. Duties Prepare and serve a variety of non-alcoholic beverages, including specialty coffees and teas, ensuring high-quality drink presentation. Take customer orders accurately using POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS, process cash transactions, and handle retail sales transactions efficiently. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, answering questions about menu items, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Assist in food preparation tasks such as baking, food handling, and basic food safety practices to support kitchen operations. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workspace, including cleaning equipment, counters, and dining areas to meet health standards. Support beverage service and drink service during busy hours to keep the flow smooth and guests satisfied. Manage time effectively to balance multiple responsibilities while ensuring prompt service during peak periods. Requirements Previous experience in food service or café environments is preferred; barista experience is a plus. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for processing sales and transactions. Strong customer service skills with an approachable attitude and good communication abilities. Basic math skills for handling cash, making change, and retail math calculations. Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Flexibility to work various shifts including mornings, evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed.
