The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for creating and serving beverages, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining a clean and organized bar area. The position includes bartending duties on all 3 floors of the historic Castle building located in downtown Rochester. This is a fast paced position with a high income earning potential in tips with our affluent clientele. Must be well spoken and well polished to meet the needs of our guests. Duties Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware, cleaning surfaces, and disposing of waste properly. Manage cash register operations, including processing payments accurately and efficiently. Ensure compliance with food safety and alcohol service regulations. Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages to management. Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate catering services for events as needed. Uphold a positive atmosphere in the nightclub environment by interacting with guests in a friendly manner. Skills Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests. Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours. Familiarity with cash register operations and retail math for accurate transaction processing. Experience in catering services is a plus but not required. Ability to work well under pressure in a busy nightclub setting while maintaining professionalism.
